Event: Great Glebe Garage Sale
As a self-proclaimed garage sale connoisseur, I've been to some pretty awesome garage sales. However, I have to say that The Great Glebe Garage Sale is an unmatched winner. Friendly faces fill the Glebe every May to begin the ultimate treasure hunt (some starting the hunt as early as seven in the morning!!) for cheap housewares, gently-used clothing, jewelry and home-baked goodies. This year, Capital Oh shared a table with the lovely Ariana of Coquettes and Gents, and we had a blast selling old clothes, shoes and accessories, all-the-while making new pals! I also found a cool candy-striper button-up, ate a hot dog, and got a sun burn--fun times, fun times. Don't miss this one, Ottawa newcomers, seriously. - S
